About Nathan Cross

Firehawk Products & Services, Inc. (Firehawk) was founded in 2006 by its owner and Director, Nathan Cross. Mr. Cross served with the HCS-5 Firehawk's (Helicopter Combat Special Support Squadron Five), which is the Navy’s premier Special Warfare Operations Helicopter Unit.

During his career with HCS-5 Nathan completed two tours in Iraq, logged over 120 combat hours and flew over 50 combat missions resulting in the capture of numerous Iraqi terrorists. He also earned two Air Medals as a helicopter door gunner. While on deployment, his primary responsibility was to organize and maintain over 45 secret landing zones inside combat zones. In addition to his flight duties, Nathan was also responsible as an Aviation Ordnance Technician to maintain all weapons and munitions allocations. Small businesses were often called upon to fulfill these requests, thus providing Nathan significant experience dealing with small businesses.

In 2006 Nathan received his honorable discharge from the Navy and decided to establish a new company, incorporating the knowledge and experiences he had obtained from working with small business providers to fulfill his missions. His love and commitment to the armed services and the United States of America continues through the incorporation of Firehawk, a service disabled veteran owned small business, established in memory of the HCS-5 Firehawks.
